Hi! My name is Ashley Sampson. I am the middle daughter of Billy and Jane Sampson. Thank you for visiting our site. I hope you enjoy everything on our site.
I was born on March 10, 1993 in Chicago, Illinois. I have been raised in church my whole life. I was saved on June 8th, 2008. I thought I got saved when I was six years old but had not truly given my heart to the LORD. I just wanted to get saved because other kids were getting saved at my church but I didn’t truly ask Jesus into my heart as my Saviour. I just never had that peace that the LORD promised.
One Sunday while Dad was preaching at our home church, the Welcome Hill Missionary Baptist Church, I accepted Jesus as my Saviour. The Lord finally got my attention. When Dad gave the alter call I hesitated at first, but I couldn’t take it any more. I got Dad’s attention and he took time to listen to what I needed to tell him and I told him what was wrong. I told him I wasn’t saved. And that night I accepted the Lord as my personal Saviour. What a relief the LORD gave me that night!
I’ve been traveling with my family since October 2001, and I have very much enjoyed traveling and singing with my family. I am so glad that I got my heart right with the Lord because now I can sing and believe the meaning in every word.
Please pray for me as I seek the Lord’s will for my life. As of right now, I’m in school, focusing on graduating high school in 2011. I’m not sure what God has in store for my future, but I’m looking ahead, anticipating every moment of it. May God bless you and I pray that this site is in every way a blessing and help to you.
