8 SAVED IN DULCE, NEW MEXICO
Our family led the June 2009 GPA youth mission trip to Dulce, New Mexico from June 19-29, 2009. We worked with Missionaries Ken Trivette, and Dan Spencer . The group led a vacation Bible school, held a tent meeting each night for God’s Cowboys, worked at the community center, and worked on several projects for the elderly in the community, along with work projects for Good News Baptist Church in Dulce. It is also home of the Jicarilla Apache Indian tribe. We also participated in an evangelistic tent meeting for the tribe. Praise God 8 precious souls were saved! We want to thank the New Macedonia Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Tennessee for also going with us this year, and Pastor Bill White. Along with youth director, and my cousin Kevin Gentry for all of there hard work. They brought a group to do sign language to music each night as well. It was a highlight for all! Also Antioch Baptist Church in Bristol,,VA was a HUGE help to us. Pastor Brad Davis and the church loaned us their church van to hall the sound system, generators, tools, and other items for the work and meeting. Rev. Jerry Stepp and his wife Rhonda drove down from Chicago to get the van and did over 5400 miles. We thank you all who helped with this trip, and your support!
